About Us

Who We Are

We are mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers and female legal guardians who have children serving in the military, guard or reserves, or children who are veterans. We support each other and our children while promoting patriotism. Our organization focuses on our mission every single day and will never, ever forsake our troops, our veterans or families of our Fallen Heroes.

The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian organization. We do not support any political candidate nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization. Links to our website do not represent an endorsement. We are a 501(c)3 Organization.

The Blue Star Mothers of America is a national organization chartered by congress in 1942. There are over 6,000 members with over 200 chapters across the country. The Eastern Mass chapter, chartered in 2006 is one of 3 active chapters in the state of Massachusetts. We meet monthly where we discuss ways we can support causes and events for our troops, veterans and their families all while bonding and supporting each other.

Our chapter's three fold mission: SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN, SUPPORT OUR VETERANS, SUPPORT EACH OTHER.

Select the "Locate a Chapter" link to find the chapter closest to you. Our chapter is MA2
Select the "Join Now" link and complete the online application (enter your email address in the login box) and submit the form with your $30 membership fee. A paper application is also available there that can be printed and mailed in with the membership fee.
