veteran's day cards 2023

Our chapter collected hundreds of handmade cards from several local schools and groups. The cards were given to the VA hospitals, local veteran homes and several other veteran organizations. We thank everyone that was involved with this project!

In September our chapter made & delivered delicious, homecooked meals for the veterans at the O'Connor-Sisson House in Dartmouth.

Run to Home Base 2022

A few of our chapter moms took part in Run to Home Base in July. One of our moms ran at the live event in Boston with the finish line at Fenway Park. A couple more moms did a virtual walk along the Cape Cod Canal. Thank you to all who helped to support our fundraising efforts for this very worthy cause!

valentine's day 2022

Eastern Mass Blue Star Mothers shipped nearly 500 Valentine cards to the troops. These sweet Valentine cards & messages were made by a few local classrooms and our chapter members. We love our troops and always want them to know that someone at home is thinking of them! Thank you to all who helped.

operation santa 2020

Homemade stocking relay for Operation Santa. 136 Christmas stockings were made with love by chapter members to be included with Operation Santa's annual stuffing and shipping overseas event.

The Vietnam Moving Wall came to Wareham, MA in August. Our chapter was honored to be part of the opening ceremony which was dedicated to local Vietnam era Gold Star Families.

Ice Cream Social & Dance Show

VA Hospital Brockton, July 2017

Our chapter hosted an ice cream social with a dance performance for veterans at the Brockton VA. Performers included three of our chapter members, a granddaughter of a chapter member and some friends.
